I'm Sam. 21. Married. Madly in love with my soldier. Carpe Diem!

I probably love you too much (c.b)

I look at you, and I’m home. There is no one else in this world that I feel both comfortable and nervous around, but still feel good about myself. Everyone is either one or the other, and I don’t let people see me the way you do.

The Invisible War

  • Since 2006, more than 95,000 service members have been sexually assaulted in the U.S. military
  • More than 86% of service members do not report their assault
  • Less than five percent of all sexual assaults are put forward for prosecution, and less than a third of those cases result in imprisonment

okay so if harry potter was born in 1980, and went to hogwarts in like 91, that means he was in his sixth year in 1996

Life is short

I hear all the time about people dying and it truly is depressing. People I grew up with, family and then people I went to high school with. I grew up in a bad area and crime rates were and are pretty high compared to many other cities so it was kind of expected to get mixed up with the wrong people, thing happening but still. These people are so young, no one deserves to die young. What saved my life was my high school, a boarding school but I found out one of my classmates was stabbed to death on Saturday. It’s crazy bc we all came from different places around the world and we put differences aside to be a family there. It’s only been 4 years since we graduated, no one should be dying, the best part if their life has just begun. Life is short, you could be at the wrong place, wrong time or just have an everyday accused happen like my brothers car crash. Not to mention you could deploy in the military and die serving our country. It’s crazy how people panic about the small stuff and live their life to please… Who? Society? In the end we all die. You might as well appreciate the small things. And have fun. Don’t stay at work if you hate your job, don’t stay in a relationship if it’s abusive… Just be happy

Most of us live and die in the same corner where we were born and never get to see any of it. I don’t want to be most of us.
